    It is that time of year again. We can start thinking about the turkeys roasting and the pumpkin pies. The Thanksgiving Myth is a powerful image tied intimately to our perception of the United States. Every year we are reminded of the inaccuracies in the myth (see link below) and every year we laugh and go on repeating them. Such is the power of myth.
